Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

Join a product engineering team building AI-powered software for certification, inspection, and compliance workflows. You will work directly with customer operations and the founders to turn real-world challenges into production-ready systems that improve how this work gets done.

What You'll Do

• Embed with customer teams to understand how certification, inspection, and compliance processes work in practice.

• Lead customer calls, write specifications, and build end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, data models, and AI capabilities.

• Take ownership of product areas and ship working software to production quickly.

• Observe users working with your software and iterate based on their feedback.

• Use judgment to distinguish customer requests that generalize from those that are specific to one workflow.

• Analyze customer documents and outputs to develop AI-powered workflows for scheduling, technical review, conformity assessment, field inspection, and document intelligence.

What We're Looking For

• Three to six years of experience as a full-stack engineer, with a track record of shipping production systems to users.

• Experience with TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, SQL, and cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning, large language models, or document intelligence.

• Comfort working closely with customers and translating complex operational processes into robust software.

• Forward-deployed engineering, founding-team, or founder experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: £100,000 to £160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
