Senior Partner, Germany

About the Role

An AI-native legal services company is seeking a Senior Partner to help shape its growth and bring established client relationships into a technology-enabled legal practice. You will continue serving your clients while developing new opportunities and helping adapt recurring legal work for AI-supported delivery.

What You'll Do

• Help shape the firm's growth and contribute to its path toward its next stage.

• Bring your portable client book to the firm and continue advising those clients.

• Build market credibility and develop opportunities through your private equity, venture capital, and mid-market network.

• Identify opportunities to expand commercial and compliance services across your client base.

• Work with the founding team to move recurring legal matters onto AI-supported workflows.

What We're Looking For

• 12 to 20 or more years of German legal practice, with experience at partner level in a well-regarded German law firm or boutique.

• German-qualified Volljurist, admitted as a Rechtsanwalt, with native-level German and professional English.

• A personally held, portable book of business worth at least €1 million, with a broad client base and meaningful PE or VC relationships.

• Experience with recurring, automatable work such as commercial contracts, IT and data, corporate or venture capital, or regulatory matters.

• Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or legal AI products, and genuine interest in changing legal workflows.

• A practical path to transition client relationships, without restrictions that prevent client migration.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is €200,000 to €300,000 annually, with equity participation. Visa sponsorship is not available.
